D32 Tripoli compound is a high grease polishing compound most commonly used in metalworking and woodworking industries.  D32 rouge polishing compound is a fast, aggressive cut buffing rouge used for polishing and smoothing surfaces. Tripoli buffing compound is often used as a pre-polishing step before applying a final polishing compound or wax to further enhance the shine and protection of the surface. Use brown tripoli compound to quickly remove sanding marks, belt lines, imperfections, scratches, and grease wheel marks from aluminum, copper, brass, and other non-ferrous metals.


Recommended for use with treated sisal or cloth buffs. Not considered a coloring compound but can be used with untreated cloth buffing wheels for moderate color. Tripoli Buffing Compound is a versatile and effective solution for achieving a high-quality finish on a variety of materials.  Bars are approximately 2" x 2" x 10" and have an average weight of 2.5 pounds.

Typical Application: Metal finishing. Use with treated or untreated sisal and cotton buffs to remove sanding, belting or grease wheel marks prior to color buffing.
