Gray Steel Compound

Gray polishing compound is a fast cutting buffing rouge also know as black magic buffing compound, emery cake compound, or black buffing compound. Gray metal buffing compound has a medium grease content and is used as an agressive metal polishing and buffing compound on various surfaces. Gray buffing compound is known for its versatility and effectiveness in removing scratches, sanding marks, belt lines, grease wheel marks, oxidation, and other imperfections from steel, aluminum, brass, other ferrous metals as well as plastics, ceramics, and even wood.  It is often used in conjunction with stiffer more ridgid buffing wheel such as, sewn buffing wheels, treated sisal buffing wheels, treated airway buffing wheels, or any treated cloth type buffing wheel. Sold by the bar, case and drum. Compound bars are approximately 2" x 2" x 10" and have an average weight of 3 pounds.
