Description: Cone Point Mandrel.
Typical Application: For mounting small buffing wheels and sanding cones.
About: Although cone point mandrels are commonly used for abrasive sanding cones these also work exceptionally well with small goblet, tapered, and cylinder style buffing wheels. The reverse threads on the taper allow for self-tightening of the installed buff or abrasive cone during use. These have a ¼” shank for use in portable power and air tools with a chuck style mount and allow for great versatility in detail work. They can also be used to mount midget buffs up to 3” diameter with a ¼” arbor hole but a screw type mandrel would generally be a better choice.

Packaging: Sold individually.
Precautions: Wear appropriate safety clothing, respiratory, and eye protection when using with both abrasive cones and cloth buffs. Wheels larger than 3” are not recommended.
