10" Diameter 50Ply Loose Buffing Wheel. Made of low density 60/60 untreated cotton for flexibilty. Loose construction produces soft and flexible finishing buff. Loose buffing wheels work well on both flat and irregular surfaces, allowing the loose layers of cotton to reach in corners, around obstructions, and places other buffing wheels cannot reach. Buff will fray considerably upon initial use and during raking producing a very soft face. Good choice for low speed color buffing.

Description: Loose leaf section buff.

About: Loose section buffs are made with one row of sewing around the hole. It is soft and flexible and will reach many uneven surfaces but not all. Loose buffs made from lower density material and flannel will provide an excellent finish buff while higher densities will extend buff life and retain overall flexibility.

Construction: Made of low density cotton cloth. Can also be made from Domet or Canton flannel.

Typical Application: For buffing or coloring various articles made from metal, hard rubber, plastics, etc. where increased flexibility is needed.

Sizes: 2" to 18" diameter with standard sections being 20ply. 20ply sections are about 1/4" thick unless made with Flannel which is about 1/2" to 5/8" thick.

Precautions: Safe operation requires the use of end washers. Wear appropriate safety clothing, respiratory, and eye protection during use. Do not exceed maximum specified RPM.
