Description: Tapered Spindle.
Typical Application: For mounting small Jeweler style buffing wheels with a 1/4” arbor hole.
About: Tapered spindles are most commonly used by Jewelers on small buffing machines with a smooth non-threaded shaft and are secured with two small set screws. The reverse threads and tapered design enable the buffing wheel to self-tighten during use and also allow for installation without powering down the buffer. Available in both a left and right-handed depending on installation requirements.
Construction: Plated Steel.
Packaging: Sold individually.
Precautions: Wear appropriate safety clothing, respiratory, and eye protection during use. Wheels larger than 8” are not recommended.
