Belt Grease Stick

Sanding Belt Grease Stick is a specialized product developed to meet the growing need of heavy stock removal in the casting and metalworking industries. Its unique formulation is designed to extend belt life and enhance cutting performance, especially when it comes to grits 24-120 used for stock removal and rough grinding. 

For optimal results, we recommend applying the grinding grease stick during the initial use of the belt and reapplying whenever the belt's cutting action seems to diminish. Our belt dressing grease stick is enriched with abrasive grains that not only facilitate superior cutting but also prevent excessive heat buildup, thanks to its tallow base. 

Typically, abrasive belts used for polishing non-ferrous metals, zinc, or aluminum die castings, are discarded prematurely as they tend to accumulate metal particles. Our grease stick, with its unique blend of belt grease and abrasive grain, effectively fills the gap between the abrasive grit, thereby minimizing clogging and metal load glazing. This helps to prolong the life of the belt and improves its performance. 

Furthermore, our sanding belt grease stick also doubles as a buffing compound. When added to the abrasive grain, it imparts a brighter luster than is achievable with non-abrasive stick grease, enhancing the finish of your workpieces. Tubes are approximately 2.5" diameter by 9" tall and have an average weight of 2.0 pounds.
