Tapered and Cylinder Buffs
A tapered buff is constructed in the shape of a cone, it is a firm buff and generally used to buff and polish inside diameters where there is no bottom to be polished. The tapered and cylinder buffs are exactly the same except as to shape. The cylinder buff has parallel sides and the tapered buff tapers to a rounded point. Designed for use on a tapered spindle. For buffing the inside surfaces of any hollow ware or tubes, where there is no bottom to be polished. Tripoli, rouge, or other compositions may be used. They also may be set up with glue and abrasive grain or used with grease-less compound and wheel grease in heavy cut down operations.
