Description: Non-Woven Airway Buff.
Typical Application: For blending and finishing on flat or contoured metal parts.
About: Non-Woven Airway buffs are designed for light to medium duty applications where coated abrasives are too aggressive or not applicable. The pleated design provides a more uniform finish than full disc wheels and help prevent rippling. Use to produce decorative finishes, remove parting lines, for light deburring, breaking edges, sealer sanding, and rust removal.
Available Sizes: 8” to 16” diameter, 2 and 4 ply.
Precautions: Wear appropriate safety clothing, respiratory, and eye protection during use.
Note: Guaranteed for quality and performance. - Media

3 Review(s)Christopher MayMay 11, 2022Good prepThis works great for removing surface contamination to get you down to fresh surface. Diamond deck tears it up quickly but is still amazing for prepping it.Patrick WorsterMay 26, 2018I love themExcellent! Living in Maine I see a lot of bad Metal I use the medium airway, then the fine, and very fine on my diamond plate, I run it at 1800-2000 rpms and it doesn’t chew up the wheels to bad and it strips the calcium spots away. If you work it enough with a Tripoli and a matchless orange wheel it’ll take the scratches out that are left behind from the wheels.Jack DickeyMay 24, 2018Cute but CostlyGreat for ripping out road tar. I usually use these to apply a brush finish. Awesome results, but they do wear down pretty fast even with it being 4ply. Might hold together longer with a couple rows of stitches.Stephane GauthierMarch 7, 2017Very Fine Satin BuffThese very fine satin finish buffs are great to clean welds on fuel tanks and on rough diamond plate prior to polishing.
