- This bar cuts harder than tripoli (will take out as deep as 280 grit sanding marks) but unlike many other producers' compounds doesn't require wipe-downs between steps. Word of advice: apply MUCH less compound than you would with a tripoli - overloading will overlubricate your buff. A little goes a long way.
