Good prep
This works great for removing surface contamination to get you down to fresh surface. Diamond deck tears it up quickly but is still amazing for prepping it.

I love them
Excellent! Living in Maine I see a lot of bad Metal I use the medium airway, then the fine, and very fine on my diamond plate, I run it at 1800-2000 rpms and it doesn’t chew up the wheels to bad and it strips the calcium spots away. If you work it enough with a Tripoli and a matchless orange wheel it’ll take the scratches out that are left behind from the wheels.

Cute but Costly
Great for ripping out road tar. I usually use these to apply a brush finish. Awesome results, but they do wear down pretty fast even with it being 4ply. Might hold together longer with a couple rows of stitches.

Very Fine Satin Buff
These very fine satin finish buffs are great to clean welds on fuel tanks and on rough diamond plate prior to polishing.
