Description: Rubber expanding drum.
Typical Application: For mounting spiral wound bands.
About: An expanding drum as the name implies expands to create internal pressure and friction on the mounted band to secure it in place. Once the band is in place the lock nut at the base of the drum or the top of the shank is tightened which expanding the rubber outward and securing the band. Dismounting requires the exact opposite. Stocked in 1” and 2” diameters with corresponding face widths and a 1/4” shank. Other sizes available as a special order.
Construction: Plated steel and rubber.
