Red Rouge

Red polishing compound or “red jewelers rouge” is a type of abrasive material used for polishing and buffing surfaces to achieve a smooth and glossy finish. Red rouge polish is known for its ability to produce a high shine and mirror-like finish on metals, particularly softer metals like gold, silver, and brass. Recommended for use with untreated buffing wheels or flannel buffing wheels to easily remove fine scratches, oxidation, and other imperfections from the surface. Red compound is specifically designed for delicate and intricate work, making it ideal for jewelry polishing, watchmaking, and other precision applications. It is also commonly used in the automotive industry for polishing chrome and other metal parts. Compound bars are approximately 2" x 2.5" x 9" and have an average weight of 2.2 lbs.
