Purpose: Commonly used in the metal finishing industry for building set-up or grease wheels. The dry glue is usually mixed with 50 parts water or to the desired consistency and heated to a set temperature in a glue pot. Once heated and dissolved it is applied to the outer perimeter of a polishing wheel with a glue brush, the wheel is then rolled in a rectangular open top bin of abrasive grain and allowed to cure. This in turn forms an abrasive wheel that can be used in various metal finishing applications.
